Used correctly, webinar allow you to identify interested people and concentrate your marketing efforts and dollars on them.
What makes webinars so effective is how the simple act of registering for a webinar qualifies a prospect for your business. If that same person actually participates in the webinar, they become even more qualified. If that same person listens to the entire webinar they are even more qualified. Finally, if they listen to the entire webinar and they participate in the post webinar survey, they become the most qualified person on which to market your products and services.
Anytime I conduct a webinar, there are a number of people who fall into this category. Clearly they are interested in my product, but for some reason decided not to buy. Once someone has met all these criteria, these are the people I want to follow up with and really target with my sales efforts.
You stand a much better chance at making money by following up with responders to a webinar than those who did not respond to your webinar. What a responder has done is raise their hands and essentially indicate that they are interested in what you have to say. If your prospective customers have not raised their hands, should you market to them before those who have? Of course not! The reason why is because someone who has responded is significantly more likely to buy from you if you have the right follow up. Non-responders can be a waste of time and money.
By marketing with webinars you reduce your marketing expenses because now you only have to market to your best prospects. These are the people who are most likely to buy your product or service with a little follow up so they are the ones you should be focusing your efforts on.
Using webinars can dramatically improve the bottom line for your offline business. If you are not implementing them into your business you are likely spending time and money that you do not have to spend.
